Wind Data Logger Kit for Hoist, Mast Climbers and Lifting Equipment

Anyone involved in the project can access live, historical and forecast wind speed data directly from the height of a hoist, mast climber or equipment. The lights and alarm will activate when the wind speed reaches the custom set thresholds.

LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998) regulations mandate that lift and hoist planning should not rely solely on broad weather forecasts due to their limited precision for individual locations. Instead, LOLER necessitates the use of an on-site monitoring system, like Windcrane, which can continuously measure precise wind conditions.

Windcrane Incrane Wind Speed Alarm kit includes:

• Incrane datalogger installed inside electrical panel din mount

• DIN rail Power Supply and Antenna

• Worldwide network coverage and sim card

• Q20-R anemometer on pole with 1,5m cable with M12 connector and u-bolt for mounting

• Smart Wind Warning Alarm Siren Box, rated IP65, magnetic mounting rubberised feet, 3m cable with M12 connector to connect to data logger. 

• 12 months Wind Data Service (IR) to web interface and mobile app is included

Windcrane records the maximum and average wind speed in 10 minute intervals. 
The data is collected and sampled every 1 second and produces the statistics within each 10 minutes window.
Wind speed is refreshed every 3 seconds on mobile app or web platform.
The alarm and lights can be remotely controlled to activate on working hours or manually switched off at the unit.
