The WINDCRANE Satellite Jib End Kit is designed for crawler and mobile cranes working in remote wind turbine farms in areas without mobile network access.
Using satellite connectivity, it records maximum and average wind speeds, measuring every second and transmitting data in 10-minute intervals.

Mountable on the crane's jib, the kit connects to any 12-24V power source and uses minimal power, allowing it to run off the crane’s battery, even when the crane is off.

View your wind data remotely online at any time, from any mobile device or computer, ensuring you always have access to the wind conditions.

Includes a MEASNET-calibrated anemometer to guarantee accurate wind measurements, to provide proof for downtime and delays caused by windy conditions during turbine installation and servicing.

WINDCRANE Satellite Jib End Kit includes:

• Windcrane Mini data logger in IP67 rated case and prewire cable for power

• Satellite data modem I67 rated, connects to logger via 10m M12 cable

• S20 Anemometer with MEASNET calibration on mount pole and pre-wired cable with M12 connector and U-bolt, supplied with a specific and unique calibration certificate from a recognised laboratory valid for 12 months from start of use. Information on the calibrated anemometers details.

• Mounting clamps/ straps for the logger unit to be secured to the end of the crane jib

• 12 months Wind Data Service IR to the Windcrane platform is included

• Kindly note our customers make and source their own gimbals to attach to the anemometer to suit their crane type.

Wind Data Service Plan (WDSP-SAT):

Windcrane records the maximum and average wind speed in 10 minute intervals.
The data is collected and sampled every 1 second and produces the statistics within each 10 minutes window.

We have really enjoyed the Satellite unit, it has been working great especially in remote areas where it consistently retrieves and saves our data. We have successfully been able to claim downtime from our customer. The cellular units are also performing exceptionally well at our other project, which is closer to a larger city. Overall, we're very satisfied with the performance of both units.
