Wind Data Service Plan (SATELLITE)

Windcrane records the absolute Maximum, Average and Standard Deviation wind speed within the last 10 minutes time window. 

The data is collected and sampled every 1 second and produces the statistics within each 10 minutes window.

For example: 10 minutes = 600 seconds, each second is measured and the highest wind speed, the average and standard deviation wind speed of those 600 measurements are reported.

Wind speed is refreshed every 10 minutes on the Windcrane platform, accessed via a mobile phone or computer

Anyone involved in the project can access live, historical and forecast wind speed data directly from the height of a specific crane or location.

The data is saved on our cloud platform and is available remotely at any time.

• Forecast at Height Planning Report - 1 hour intervals at chosen height

• CSV / Excel Spreadsheet - Select any length of time period and export data in 10 minutes, 1 hour, 1 day, 1 week, 1 month, 1 year intervals.

We have really enjoyed the Satellite unit, it has been working great especially in remote areas where it consistently retrieves and saves our data. We have successfully been able to claim downtime from our customer. The cellular units are also performing exceptionally well at our other project, which is closer to a larger city. Overall, we're very satisfied with the performance of both units.
