Wind Energy Crane Monitoring

Manage crane downtime during wind farm construction and maintenance.

Windcrane Mini Jib End Tech Specs.png

Naturally high wind conditions, uneven ground conditions, unloading extremely heavy wind turbine parts, and other factors can make wind farms especially risky for cranes. One bad decision or change in conditions can lead to a costly accident.

Creating detailed lift plans and creating a culture of safety can help crane operators and contractors maximise their productivity on renewable energy construction projects.

The WINDCRANE 'end of jib' is designed specifically for crawler cranes and mobile cranes.

It can be connected directly to the 24V power supply at the end of the jib/boom and run from the crawler crane batteries for days without depleting the vehicle batteries.

Crawler crane operators can keep in contact with their cranes and ensure their safety, even when no-one is on site. The data is transmitted in real time over the GSM network providing remote live access and instant notifications of dangerous wind speeds surrounding crane fleets.

Wind sensor calibration (MEASNET) is available.

Explore the WINDCRANE APP available on Android and iOS.

WINDCRANE provides historic, live and recorded wind data and reports specific to crane site and height: Solid evidence to back claims for delays due to unforeseen and exceptional wind conditions.
