Atlas Crane Investing in Safety and Productivity

With a continued focus on safety and productivity, Atlas Crane Service LLC is pleased to partner with WINDCRANE - Advanced remote wind speed monitoring and forecasting to install their anemometer systems on its crane fleet.

These devices are combined with an industry-leading mobile application designed to improve safety, efficiency, planning, and productivity for any job site. This continues to keep Atlas on the cutting edge of technology, especially for wind maintenance and construction.

Previously, only the crane operator in the cab was able to review real-time wind speed data. The operator would then be responsible for communicating wind speeds to the entire jobsite. With Windcrane, varying wind conditions are shared with anyone with access to the Windcrane application. Windcrane displays wind speed data for all sites and/or cranes in one convenient dashboard, allowing all employees on the job, even leadership not on-site, to adjust and plan for changing wind conditions. 

Additionally, Windcrane is the only system available that provides “live”, historical, and forecast information in one application. With the ease of reviewing prior data, and forecasting based on these trends, project planners and job-site leadership can now actively schedule crane lifts for the safest possible times.
