Wind Direction in Daily & Weekly Reports

If the datalogger does not have a wind direction sensor, the data will not appear.

To help crane operators and project teams make faster, safer decisions, we’ve added wind direction visualisation options for True North or Boom Wind, where the boom is used as the reference point.

By measuring wind direction with a wind vane, everyone gains a clearer understanding of how wind behaves and how it may influence lifting operations.

Wind Direction Display Explained:

• Grey Arrow - True North: The wind vane is aligned to geographic north.

• Blue Arrow - Boom Wind: The wind vane is aligned to the crane boom, showing wind direction relative to the crane orientation.

Historical Reports now include wind direction arrows for either True North or Boom Wind.

This helps teams review data on safe or unsafe wind behaviour.
