Create a New Project Archive” Feature

Keep your WINDCRANE Dashboard clean and your projects traceable. With the new “Project Archive” feature, you can rename sites without losing history and assign guest access with full control over date ranges.

What Is “Create a New Project Archive”?

This simple checkbox option lets you store a full trail of your project name changes. Every time you rename a site, the system saves the old name and date, so nothing is lost:

How to Archive a Project

Edit the current Project Site Name, tick the “Create a new project archive” box, and save. An icon will appear showing that the archive was created, giving you quick access to the project history:

Guest Access to Archived Data

You can assign guest users to view only their relevant project data within a specified date range — perfect for when devices move to new sites but clients need past access.
